Page moves

edit

Hi. While I appreciate your bold action to rename articles, there are a couple of concerns about making such decisions unilaterally. If you believe the rename is necessary, it is better to build consensus on the article's talk page, instead of just doing it with no discussion. Part of the reason the original name for Mack Rides is better is the standard called WP:COMMONNAME, which advises that the article should be the one most commonly used in independent publications, unless there's a need to disambiguate the name further. The article name will be what the reader is most likely to search for, and the average reader will not know all the corporate lingo following the name of the company. That info is indeed accurate, as you stated, and it is mentioned in the lede sentence of the article, as it should be. Again, if you feel this needs to be changed, please get consensus for the move before making it. --McDoobAU93 12:42, 19 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Again, you've decided to move an article that did not have any consensus for such a move. Please discuss such moves on the article's talk page unless there is crystal-clear consensus for such a move. In the case of Volcano Bay, it is the common name used in most every discussion of the park in independent news articles. Only Universal itself, a primary source, uses the "Universal's Volcano Bay" name. --McDoobAU93 13:06, 5 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of roller coaster rankings, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page American Eagle (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

List of roller coaster rankings

I noticed that you recently removed content from List of roller coaster rankings without explaining why. Please make sure that in edits like this, you describe your changes with an accurate edit summary to let others know the reason(s) behind each change. The Rattler was a previous record holder for height, and just like Son of Beast, we have a note about it in the header of that section. If you have any questions, you can reply here or leave a message on my talk page. Thanks. GoneIn60 (talk) 09:54, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your edits are in danger of being removed

edit

You have added a lot of material to Wikipedia since February 2017, but you never include citations to support your edits, nor do you ever include an edit summary to explain your work. Wikipedia requires citations — they are essential — therefore anything you add without a proper reference may be removed at any time. It is also Wikipedia established practice to include edit summaries describing how your edit has changed an article. Please review the policies Citing sources and Edit summaries and learn how to add citations and edit summaries if you do not want any of your edits to be reversed or content removed. Thank you. — O'Dea (talk) 21:51, 18 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm GoneIn60. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Red Force (roller coaster), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GoneIn60 (talk) 17:44, 28 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
