Hummingbird Hawk-moth FPC

Hi! You supported the Hummingbird Hawk-moth FPC (like everyone else who commented), but HighInBC uploaded an edit that absolutely no-one commented on. I can't promote the image without knowing which version to promote, so now I have to ask everyone which version they prefer. Would you mind specifying which image you are supporting? Thanks. Image copyright problem with Image:Albino peacock.jpg

Thank you for uploading Image:Albino peacock.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

Wikimedia Commons

Hi. Just to let you know that I have uploaded Image:Globe panorama03.jpg and Image:Globe panorama03.jpg to Wikimedia Commons. The Flickr licences were CC-BY-SA-2.0 and not CC-BY-SA-3.0, so I have changed it accordingly. Regards, Chris.B (talk) 19:26, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Well, by uploading to Commons, all the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow visitors to search for, view and use the media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons.
