If you have a draft article, it should be created and located on Wikipedia either on WP:AFC or in a WP:USERSPACEDRAFT. Something circulated offline is not acceptable, as admins have NO ability to tell if your "article" meets our basic standards for inclusion, if it contains appropriate third party sources, or even if the topic is acceptable for Wikipedia. Please do not request additional advanced permissions if you're not willing to follow the processes and procedures you agreed to when you created your account the panda ₯’ 19:42, 14 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Ok, 3 things:
  1. How does he meet WP:ACADEMIC - it's not at all obvious
  2. There is not a single third party reliable source to be found, which is a necessity
  3. It reads like an obituary, not an encyclopedia

Your draft article, User:AYMacArthur/Prof. Dan MacArthur: An Environmentalist Ahead of His Time

edit

Hello AYMacArthur. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Prof. Dan MacArthur: An Environmentalist Ahead of His Time".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|User:AYMacArthur/Prof. Dan MacArthur: An Environmentalist Ahead of His Time}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 16:51, 5 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
