COI editing edit

Please read WP:COI. That you work for Nichia Corporation is a very good reason for you to be careful about your edits. Your last edits may have been good faith but they were unwikilike, and I have undone them. Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) (talk) 16:25, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

  Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Nichia Corporation. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Okay, you seriously have to stop at this point. I've warned you about repeatedly removing sourced information. It's time to bring in the admins to sort this out. Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) (talk) 17:14, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

FYI conflict of interest guideline edit

  If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Nichia Corporation, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. — Athaenara 17:40, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

3RR warning on Nichia Corporation edit

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Nichia Corporation. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe 19:22, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
