Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a minimum number of days and made a minimum number of edits.

If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (98.168.254.39) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

Removal of source

edit

I undid your removal of sourced content at Spanish Inquisition. If you feel that I made a mistake, please raise a discussion at the Talk page, explaining your views. Alternatively, or in addition to that, if you believe that the major Spanish daily newspaper ABC (newspaper) is unreliable, you can raise that at Wikipedia:Reliable sources noticeboard. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 20:46, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to Almond milk, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 07:20, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Hello, I'm Wikipedialuva. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Prostitution in ancient Rome seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please cite a reliable source supporting your position before adding "wrongly" to statement that is sourced. Wikipedialuva (talk) 06:31, 18 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Arab sword, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please see MOS:PBUH. '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talk|contribs) 05:00, 25 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Erp. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Victor and Corona, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Erp (talk) 14:07, 28 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Medieval French literature, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Sigma440 (talk) 08:52, 8 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

You can only use this website to shield the truth for so long before you get the rope. Remember that. 98.168.254.39 (talk) 09:54, 8 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. ArkHyena (talk) 03:55, 11 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

You guys sure as hell aren't using a source that's reliable. That whole thing is opinion. 98.168.254.39 (talk) 04:01, 11 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Changing BCE to BC etc

edit

See WP:BCE. "An article's established era style should not be changed without reasons specific to its content; seek consensus on the talk page first." Your reason "offensive to Christians" is not a reason that other editors will likely recognise as valid but if you want to propose it, discuss on Talk pages first. Thanks MarcGarver (talk) 10:25, 12 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your reasoning for denying that is discriminatory. And there will be no discussion in the face of discrimination. And this is the exact reason why I have refused to share anymore information. 98.168.254.39 (talk) 09:38, 16 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
