The issue was not providing a source for the change in the article.

It seems the issue of Billy the Kid's name remains a matter of some contention; certainly within the book The Authentic Life of Billy, the Kid he is referred to exclusively as having had the real name William H. Bonney, so any change, even a well-sourced one, would need to acknowledge that. AntiDionysius (talk) 17:06, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
