Hello, I'm Maylingoed. I noticed that you recently removed content from Byzantine–Sasanian War of 602–628 without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. -- Have a great day, mAyLiNgOeEd (Talk to me!🗣) (What else I did!📜) 21:52, 19 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi, 96.248.14.145, I trust you mean well, but it's not appropriate to add age-at-death when either the birth or death date is given as "circa [year]". Stating a specific age conveys false precision. Please desist. (@Deepfriedokra, is a short block needed to get this user's attention?) Pelagicmessages ) – (11:39 Sun 04, AEDT) 00:39, 4 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Also, Template:Death year and age gives correct results when the months of birth or death are unknown. Please don't remove it. Though I'll admit with Mohammad Said Pasha (Special:Diff/1015749004) being born 19 January, the odds are very good that he was 65 not 64 years old when he died. In a few cases where the birth year and death day are known, I have changed your added age-at-death to use {{Template:Death date and age}} which gives a more accurate result. E.g. Liu Bin (Southern Han). — Pelagicmessages ) – (13:10 Sun 04, AEDT) 02:10, 4 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
