Opinion polls

NB Scottish independence polls don't always add up to 100%, because they sometimes allow responses other than yes, no, or don't know. For example, in the YouGov poll you are objecting to, 4% said they would not vote and 2% refused to answer the question. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 10:30, 23 April 2021 (UTC)

You posted "I was objecting to the result of the poll, as it is mathematically impossible for the result to be that far skewed from the norm." on my talk page. Well, I can't help you then. Your problem seems to be that you can't accept that other people might have a different view from you. Any further removal of those (or other) polls will be treated as vandalism and reverted. I’ve studied these things for years and never seen a skew like that. My father has also done a lot of research into this and we both have concluded that these polls are probably not quite right. Opinions simply don’t change that much in a week. Given how some US election polls were, I feel that this kind of inaccuracy is far too common these days. 95.148.142.9 (talk) 11:26, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
