Welcome!

edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to Roger Jenkins (banker) does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Questions page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Below are a few other good links for newcomers:

That's right. 92.6.113.241, please don't "welcome" experienced editors such as User:Dr.Pinsky, it's ridiculous. Also, don't accuse anybody of vandalism without proper grounds. Removing your content about Roger Jenkins's brother from the article Roger Jenkins (banker) is not vandalism. And removing gossip like Jenkins's wife saying "this is my time to be me" about their divorce definitely improves the article. Wikipedia is not a tabloid. His Muslim wife was intricately involved in getting Barclays Bank's bailout from the Gulf Arab states. It was a government bailout by the oil states. Roger Jenkins himself says that his wife was involved. I think you most likely do not know the subject matter. 92.6.113.241 (talk) 17:32, 17 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Also, re his brother - Roger Jenkins himself was a track and field athlete and won various titles/awards, and his brother David won a silver Olympic medal and has since admitted that he took anabolic steroids during his career, and Roger Jenkins has admitted in print that he is "very close" to his brother. His brother was prosecuted and convicted, and Roger Jenkins himself was prosecuted for the Barclays bailout. There are many connections here, and I would point out that Roger Jenkins' brother, David Jenkins, has his own Wikipedia entry, so it is not like he is a nobody (the U.S. government said that he was one of the biggest drug smugglers). I find it strange that you do not want any of this stuff in Roger Jenkins' Wikipedia entry - even though it is backed by top-of-the-line media links. I also find it weird that Roger Jenkins is modifying his own Wikipedia entry. 92.6.113.241 (talk) 17:39, 17 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
I also find it strange that you and Pinsky are basically copying what Roger Jenkins wants deleted from his Wikipedia entry:

David Jenkins has his own article? In that case, why do you try to squeeze negative content about him into his brother's article? That's just weird. Roger Jenkins "admitting" [sic] that he is close to his brother is no reason at all to try to push guilt by association. Put it in the right place (David Jenkins (sprinter)), always assuming you have reliable sources for it. I looked at your media links, but failed to find any suggestion in them that Roger was involved or to blame for David's crimes. And Roger Jenkins's wife's statement that "this is my time to be me" is supposed to throw light on her role re the Gulf Arab states? Seriously? Bishonen | tålk 21:52, 17 June 2022 (UTC).Reply
