Edit summary without username edit

I see that you reverted an edit I made, which is fine; however, your edit summary actually included my username and even linked to it[1]. I cannot immediately recall the exact guideline, but Wikipedia's guidelines disallow that in an edit summary. Thanks for reading. --→gab 24dot grab← 21:38, 22 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive feedback submissions. I have removed the recent feedback you left using the Article Feedback Tool as it seemed inappropriate according to the guidelines for posting helpful feedback. Thank you. Mdann52 (talk) 13:40, 22 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

March 2020 edit

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Jill Biden. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use the sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write. Psu256 (talk) 16:27, 4 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
