Scott Erik Jaffe (born April 29, 1969) is an American former competition swimmer and Olympic medalist. Jaffe represented the United States at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.

Jaffe attended the 1988 Olympic trials, swimming in a 400 meter freestyle relay, but failed to make the American team. Disappointed, he stopped swimming for eight months afterwards.[1][2]
1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics edit
In the 1992 qualifiers, Scott came close enough, finishing fourth in the 200 meters with a time of 1:49.33, and was fifth in the preliminaries with a time of 1:49.65[3] Jaffee earned a bronze medal by swimming for the third-place U.S. team in the preliminary heat of the men's 4×200-meter freestyle relay which qualified the United States Team for the finals. Jaffe swam in the first position in Heat 3 of the last qualifying round and received a time of 1:50.14 for his 200 meter swim.[2]
He studied at the University of California, Berkeley, where he swam for the California Golden Bears swimming and diving team.[2]
