Duke template

edit

Excuse me? Was there anything in my edit or my edit summary that would justfy the type of response you left on my talk page? What you posted was rude, unreasonable and unprovoked. The reason I reverted you edits has nothing to do with what is in your Final Four program, but everything to do with who currently meets or potentially could meet Wikipedia's notability requirements. Not all players on a college team meet Wikipedia's notability requirements (unlike professional players). Navboxes are not substitutes for articles, they merely point readers to other articles on Wikipedia that are related to the article they are currently viewing. A complete roster without doubt belongs on the article discussing the 1991 Duke team (if there is one), not the navbox. I am more than happy to discuss this further if you are willing to engage me in a civil manner. Thank you. - Masonpatriot (talk) 02:03, 19 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am done engaging in the conversation. I will continue to challenege edits that do not conform with wikipedia notability requirements, et al. Thank you. - Masonpatriot (talk) 04:30, 19 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wikiquette alert

Please note that I have posted a message regarding the message you left on my page at Wikiquette alerts. Please feel free to post a message there if you wish to. Thank you. - Masonpatriot (talk) 02:19, 19 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

As you are aware (above), a WQA was filed against you regarding your comments here. Please note you have engaged in unseemly conduct, including assumptions of bad faith (eg; "you need to quit deleting stuff that you obviously don't know anything about."), personal attacks and incivility (eg; "Mr. Wikipedia genius"). Please refrain from that conduct in the future. Please also be aware that the filing party may pursue the next steps in WP:DR and you might be forcefully prevented from doing so, if this continues. I'm assuming you'll agree to refrain from that conduct, so I will mark this report as resolved, and the matter should end there. You're welcome to make your response at the WQA page. Thanks - Ncmvocalist (talk) 09:04, 19 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks Wikipedia police. Your conduct to me was very unacceptable and disrespectful.757 Sports Historian (talk) 02:10, 20 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Will you refrain from making comments like those I noted above? Ncmvocalist (talk) 07:16, 20 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:McDonalds's11.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:McDonalds's11.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 07:05, 31 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject National Football League

edit

I started a discussion referencing your recent edits at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject National Football League. I'm trying to see if we can develop a consensus around a consistent way of ordering championship navboxes, because they're currently very inconsistent. --Batard0 (talk) 06:18, 14 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2014–15 Old Dominion Monarchs basketball team, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jeff Jones. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
