When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to Talk:Moors, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube or Sci-Hub, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:

  • If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
  • If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;

If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. Many YouTube videos are copyright violations. Please make sure you don't post any - if you aren't sure, don't link them. Doug Weller talk 16:54, 30 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.I'm going to tell people you threaten me off of wiki because I don't agree with your information. wiki is also racist

Please don't use talk pages to argue that ethnic groups are racist

It's entirely inappropriate unless the source also discusses Moors. And YouTube videos are very rarely considered reliable sources so please don't keep posting them. Doug Weller talk 17:23, 31 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for making legal threats or taking legal action. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.  Bbb23 (talk) 14:29, 2 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
