Allison Baver edit

  Hello, 65.130.205.252. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Allison Baver, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Seagull123 Φ 17:37, 8 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Furthermore, if you wish to help with the article about you - as you state on the Help desk, the following message may be of interest to you. Hello,

As there is a Wikipedia article about you, at Allison Baver, I would like to invite you to:

  1. Supply a photo of you, if we don't have one already
  2. Make a recording of your spoken voice
  3. Tell us about your ORCID iD (you can register yourself for one) and any others you may have

You can read more at Wikipedia:About you. Seagull123 Φ 17:37, 8 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

There is also this, in case it covers anything not mentioned above. Also keep in mind Wikipedia does not have profiles. It has encyclopedic articles about notable topics. And Wikipedia cares most about what others have written about you, and less about what you want written about you.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 22:42, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
