Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 49.176.189.213, made test edits on the page Filipinos in Japan which have been reverted or removed. If you did this, please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. If 49.176.189.213 is a shared IP address and you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors and further irrelevant notices.

Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You do not have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Iryna Harpy (talk) 05:46, 22 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Oyo Boy Sotto, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Hello, I'm Marchjuly. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Anne Curtis, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:21, 24 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi IP 49.176.189.213. There's a couple of problems with the content you've been trying to add to Anne Curtis. The first problem is that you're adding content which isn't supported by a citation to a reliable source which is a problem per WP:BLPSOURCES; the people whose names you're adding to the article might actually be relatives of Curtis, but there's no way to verify such information without a citation to a reliable source showing this to be the case. The second problem is that even if the content can be verified by checking reliable sources, it's probably something that is not really relevant enough to the reader per WP:NOTEVERYTHING. Curtis' family members don't really need to be mentioned per WP:Namechecking and WP:BLPNAMES unless they are Wikipedia notable in their own right or have been extensively covered by reliable sources discussing Curtis. Please don't continue to try and force this information into the article because it will only continue to be removed and an administrator will eventually be asked to intervene to prevent any further disruption. You're welcome to start a discussion about this at Talk:Anne Curtis if you like to see whether you can establish a consensus to add such content, but the content shouldn't be re-added until such a time. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:31, 24 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Your recent edit to List of Filipino Americans appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Please see WP:INVALIDBIO and WP:ENT regarding the lack of notability for the two entries which were attempted to be added. --RightCowLeftCoast (Moo) 06:16, 28 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
