Yeah, talk about the Hoa people and Kinh people etc is just troublesome. Just make it Vietnamese. Not only that, the ultimate confusion between hán-nôm practitioners and those who speak Chinese languages just complicates the whole thing. Better to just minimise differences and say that we are all just people. I am Vietnamese with a little bit of Chinese ancestry myself but no longer speak, write or read Chinese and would prefer to learn Hán-nôm but the Chinese diaspora honestly gets in the way, wanting to regain their former glory of controlling Vietnam economy. Should follow the path of Ho Chi Minh instead - Learn Vietnamese, Chinese and Hán-Nôm, don't try to make things so monolingual, which is what Chinese folks want unfortunately.

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Tôn Đức Thắng, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 14:33, 4 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
