Ping edit

You pinged me on Gilmores talk page, i saw your post, don't bother with leaving any warnings on my talk page, you ain't welcome there Darkness Shines (talk) 19:29, 6 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

As you wish. Pinging was a courtesy as you were being discussed and I had no reason to believe you had been made aware of that fact. Cheers, and enjoy your weekend! 207.222.59.50 (talk) 19:43, 6 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please consider registering edit

even if you use a number as your user name. My issue is that over the years I've dealt with unregistered editors a lot, mostly undoing vandalism and other unproductive edits of theirs. Thousands of them. Whenever an unregistered editor edits one of the 4,000 or so articles on my watch list I try to check it out. This is very time consuming, but I consider it to be one of my more significant functions as an editor here. Talk pages I don't check, I don't know if you are editing content yet. I do realize that this is (as has been pointed out many times) my problem and not yours, but I thought I'd mention it. I don't think that I have said that you should not be allowed to edit as a number, I was just offering a unsolicited opinion. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 17:27, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

I appreciate your opinion, Einar! I could share my philosophy about why I prefer anonymous editing, but it really just boils down to "people be crazy" and "that's too much commitment". The IP serves me just fine for the few weeks out of the year that I feel determined to turn my internet browsing time into something useful. Don't worry, the newest citizen science project will catch my attention soon enough, and I'll be out of here.
Sorry that I'm stealing some of your editing energy... The sad truth is that IP addresses probably do need more eyes on them. Rest assured I'm no vandal, and you won't see me make many main space edits on the "in-the-news" type articles I like to edit (you may or may not be surprised at how many people treat IP's as revert on sight on any subject that's even mildly controversial). 207.222.59.50 (talk) 19:05, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
I too consider myself to be pro-choice and your reasons for your choice are . . .....well, your reasons. I am not a DELETE-ON-SIGHT editor when dealing with IPeditors, red linked editors (an even lower form of life from here) or anyone else, and I didn't realize that IP editors still have talk pages for this sort of exchanges. Stick around the CSA list article though, it offers some valuable, perhaps even invaluable insights into how this thing works. or, doesn't work. Carptrash (talk) 19:35, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Volunteer Marek: edit

There's a discussion going on about you here, in case you weren't aware. 207.222.59.50 (talk) 20:38, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

July 2019 edit

  Hello, I'm Bagumba. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to 2016 United States men's Olympic basketball team have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the help desk. Thanks. —Bagumba (talk) 16:03, 2 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
