Please move pages rather than copy-and-pasting them

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/WhereverTV a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into WhereverTV. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. David, thank you for your guidance. I did go to the online chat forum and specifically asked the moderators what to do before I did anything. They told me to delete all content from the current page (Wherevertv) and redirect them to a new page (WhereverTV). They also told me to do the same with the user wherevertv. Create a new user 2013mao and redirect wherevertv talk pages to the new user. That is why I did what I did.

I apologize if I bypassed Wikipedia protocols. That was not my intention. I am just trying to comply with the policy that I was not familiar with (i.e. the page and user cannot be the same name - and the user cannot be a company name).

Conflict of interest

Hello, 2013mao. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article WhereverTV, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. Editing with a conflict of interest is much less of a problem when an article is in Wikipedia:Articles for creation, because part of a reviewer's job is to make sure that the article complies with all Wikipedia content policies. However, since you copied the text into the main encyclopedia, you effectively bypassed this review and can expect to have this article heavily scrutinized and possibly heavily edited or even nominated for deletion. You are welcome to make clerical errors and delete incorrect or misleading information, but I strongly urge you to add significant new content to the main article or revert another editors deletions. Instead, propose the change on Talk:WhereverTV. Although it is not required, I urge you to "declare" your close relationship with WhereverTV by editing Talk:WhereverTV and changing

If I am mistaken, and you do not have any relationship with the company or its products other than, perhaps, as a customer, please accept my apologies and please understand that your former username led me to believe you had such a connection. If you do not have any such relationship, you may remove the "Connected contributor" template from Talk:WhereverTV and the "COI" template from WhereverTV. Please see my comments on the WhereverTV talk page regarding this. I am a customer and fan of WhereverTV and have been following them since they launched their website in 2007. I created the username to be the same as the company name, not knowing this is not allowed (as this is my first article I have written for Wikipedia).

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article WhereverTV is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
