Reversion of recent edits

edit

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I have reverted some of your recent edits. I see you're a new user (welcome to Wikipedia btw), and while I do appreciate your edits and the content you have been adding, some of it does not fit in with Wikipedia's manual of style and the general style in which Wikipedia car articles are written. I do hope you continue to edit here, and we'll be happy to have you, however, I'd advise that you spend some time looking at similar Wikipedia articles and edits before you publish your own edits on a page. For instance, if you want to put in a trivia section into an article, as I saw you had, but you see that no other articles about cars have a trivia section, there's likely a reason for that, and you should either hold off on making the edit or ask a more experienced editor in the wiki if a trivia section in that particular article would be acceptable. I had to learn this myself early on as well when I started making edits and I just want to save you the trouble so you don't invest a lot of time into an edit or edits just to have them reverted. And also, if you do have questions about edits you can feel free to message me on my talk page and i'll do my best to answer them. TKOIII (talk) 18:27, 17 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

MV Bell Pioneer moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, MV Bell Pioneer, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Game trivia edits

edit

Hi 2005emsaguindan,

I just took out a whopping 26K chunk of characters from Asphalt 8: Airborne, an article which you've been editing a lot recently. The 'Trivia' section is completely unnecessary in particular. For future reference, please see WP:VG/MOS for how to handle video game articles. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 13:22, 22 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of shipwrecks in 2004, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kashima (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Car video game trivia

edit

Please STOP adding In popular culture sections to car articles with lists of video game appearances. See WP:CARTRIVIA. Wikipedia is not the place to list every movie, TV show, book, or video game you've seen a car in. Only list pop culture appearances that were either part of the car manufacturer's promotion, or had an effect on the car's popularity, and always include reliable sources. Thanks. --Vossanova o< 18:04, 30 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
