Note that this does not mean that a calculated 95% confidence interval will contain the true proportion with 95% probability." Is that not essentially the same? If the confidence interval contains the true value 95% of the times the procedure was employed, what is the probability that after employing the procedure the confidence interval will contain the true value? Is that not 95%, too? Thank you.
