Hello, I'm Knuthove. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Enniskillen have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. Knuthove (talk) 00:45, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for cleaning up that redirect. It was indeed a mess. BlueNoise (talk) 17:29, 27 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Fractions

edit

Thanks, 192.76.8.81 - but ½ was the only fraction in the article, so I figured it complied with MOS:FRAC. Apparently not; can you enlighten me? Even if I did transgress by replacing "the conversion templates with hardcoded unit conversions in addition to adding precomposed fractions", that didn't change the sense of the article one iota.   Please do not add or change content, as you did at The Newman Society, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. TwoTwoHello (talk) 13:28, 17 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to City Sightseeing, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you.   Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia, and articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Jacques Hadamard. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use the sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write.   Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Titles of distinction awarded by the University of Oxford. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you.   Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at John Magorrian, you may be blocked from editing. The Herald (Benison) (talk) 16:38, 6 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Peter Kioso article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 19:39, 18 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
