editWelcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Brian Mulroney. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write practically anything you want. 117Avenue (talk) 04:27, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Bridge financing with this edit do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Trusilver 17:25, 13 October 2011 (UTC)

editNotables need articles and sources
editYour recent edit to the article for North Caldwell, New Jersey again attempted to add John Augustus O'Brien as a notable. Wikipedia policy requires that notables added to lists need articles of their own AND reliable and verifiable sources establishing a connection to the place. O'Brien has no article and no sources were provided establishing a connection to North Caldwell. As such, the entry has been removed. Please do not reinsert this entry until an appropriate article has been created and sources establishing a connection are provided. Please feel free to contact me on my talk page with any questions. editHello, I'm Chris troutman. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Nathan Chan without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
