Hi!! edit

Hi, I'm Chicdat. I greatly appreciate your edits in the realm of tropical cyclones. I was wondering, would you like to create an account and join the WikiProject (here!)? If you'd like to, though, you can still edit as an IP. 🐔Chicdat ChickenDatabase 10:12, 13 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

May 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Jasper Deng. Your recent edit(s) to the page 2020 North Indian Ocean cyclone season appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been removed for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please strictly adhere to [1]. Jasper Deng (talk) 19:57, 17 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm M.Bitton. I noticed that you recently removed content from Cyclone Nisarga without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Sockpuppet investigation edit

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Hurricane boy 50, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to 2020 Atlantic hurricane season, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you.   Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at 2020 Atlantic hurricane season, you may be blocked from editing. Why are you constantly removing the current storm infobox if Edouard hasn’t dissipated yet? Please stop! CycloneYoris talk! 20:33, 6 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at 2020 Pacific hurricane season, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You don’t care do you? Keep on removing current storm content, as you did with this edit to Tropical Storm Cristina, and you’ll be immediately reported. August 2020 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2020 Atlantic hurricane season. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. I already reverted you once changing the image of TD 10, when you were editing under another IP address. Please do not revert back. I have already left a message on that other IP’s talk page. I strongly believe that that IP, 45.something, is you.   Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Typhoon Malakas (2016) does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! I suggest you stop changing images in the infoboxes of tropical cyclones. Most images that you change to are of poor quality, and this is a form of disruptive editing on Wikipedia. There are more experienced users who can change images, so you can suggest an image change to either me or other users like Jasper Deng, Hurricanehink, CooperScience, Chicdat, Rosalina2427, among others. If you keep making disruptive edits, you may be reported and blocked. Thank you. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 02:05, 16 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
@CycloneYoris: After recent changes by this user, who still changes images too many times, I think ANI needs to be taken. I think you should do the ANI. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 16:43, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Destroyeraa: I see no reason why the image this user put on the template located at the Fausto section isn't viable for Wikipedia. It seems to me as if it is a true color image (and a more vibrant one at that), the image used was uploaded by CooperScience, and it's a 10 minute difference. This is rediculous. ~ AC5230 talk 16:56, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
This user has been asked in the past not to change images for storms in the past. The image of a Fausto this user has changed to is unnecessary and bland. This user simply lacks experience in this aspect of Wikipedia. This user has been warned plenty of times before on various pages, but ignores the messages and keeps making disruptive edits. I’m sure this user tries to improve Wikipedia, and has made commendable edits before. However this image changing is getting our of hand. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 17:54, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Destroyeraa: I’ve already asked an admin for advice, maybe a report at ANI won’t be necessary. CycloneYoris talk! 18:49, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

May 2021 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to 2021 North Indian Ocean cyclone season, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Beraniladri19 🌀🌀 03:34, 24 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
