First of all, welcome to Wikipedia! Yes, there are other people who edit this crazy website, just like you :P Thanks for the kind words. I'm assuming you're talking about what you see on the top-right of my user page - User:Hurricanehink. That is what's called an infobox. Most articles on people, battles, songs, video games, whatnot, all have their own userbox to summarize the information you're about to read. I copied the template from what we use in hurricane articles, like on Typhoon Haiyan. I modified it, producing what you see on the right. You can use this code by copying and pasting it into your edit window, and then of course changing it however you want to use it:
