This is your Talk page where you can receive messages from other Wikipedians and discuss things with them. At the end of your messages you must put your signature by signing with four ~~~~ (just as I have done) or by pressing the button in the editor bar as shown here in the picture. By the way, you don't need to sign edits that you make in the articles themselves as those messages will be deleted. Another valuable page that may provide information and assistance is User:Persian Poet Gal/"How-To" Guide to Wikipedia. My name is Buster7. If you have any questions or face any initial hurdles, feel free to contact me on my talk page and I will do what I can to assist or give you guidance and contact information. Good Luck editing!

Thank you, Buster7. Appreciate it!

Hi, Galassi...can I please ask you to remove the notability disclaimer from the Aleksandar Simić, composer wikipedia page...now that all the references have been added and that all the corrections you required were made. Best regards ~~~~

May 2012 spam edit

Someone should inform 12text12 that this this is not Craigslist, it is Wikipedia. This account seems like a WP:SPA that just spams Aleksandar Simić. But this is not Craigslist. Advertise somewhere else. I have reverted a few, others need to be reverted. History2007 (talk) 15:23, 18 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

I am sorry...I was not aware of the fact that it would be viewed as spamming...I was just trying to add information that actually related to the specific articles - as I said - It will not happen again talk 18:03, 18 May 2012

Well, go back and remove the rest of them then. History2007 (talk) 16:11, 18 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
I will...As soon as I come back to the computer in couple of hours...intended to, anyway. sorry, again
Ok, but the tags there need to stay given Wikipedia:BLPN#Aleksandar_Simi.C4.87 now. You need to wait and see what people say there. History2007 (talk) 16:39, 18 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
Ok...I will try to make some sense of the article...you have removed the portions that were there since 2008....you should not have done this, History2007...not to punish me...destroying articles is not editing! If something is posted on the UN site - it is being noted - not just a confirmation that it happened...please refrain from destroying my work...THANK YOU

...and please allow me to correct some of it....

>>>>>I have removed the entries from yesterday...and restored the article on Aleksandar Simic - this article now has all the references required and all the remotely subjective qualifications have been removed. I do hope it can now stay like this. Best regards, 12text12

Some of the sources you offered did not support the claims made: "Ecumenical Patriarchs" failed verification [1]; University Games 2009 failed verification [2]; cites to WP:BLPSPS and other WP:PRIMARY sources including interviews and groups associated with the subject: [3], [4], [5], [6]. These sources are insufficient to demonstrate either 1) reliability, 2) or significance as encyclopedically biographical content as indicated through reliable third party coverage. The subject, his interviews, and groups associated with the subject cannot demonstrate the enduring biographical significance of these achievements, which appear central to the subject's notability. Please replace the content only when reliable third party sources are available. Although I do not dispute the truth of the details you would like to add, they must be significant and verifiable; not everything about a person is encyclopedically significant. Cheers! Signing posts edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   or   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. JFHJr () 21:11, 19 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest edit

Hello 12text12. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Aleksandar Simić, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations.

Your contributions on my talk page and at Commons indicate you are likely the subject himself. If this is true, you're probably also AleksandarSimic (talk · contribs). It seems you have a long history of editing this article. In the future, instead of editing the article about you directly, I hope you'll consider posting at the talk page or proposing changes at WP:BLPN. At this moment, there's a discussion thread open at BLPN regarding the article, so I hope you'll choose to participate there. Your other options include e-mailing or posting at WP:OTRSN (e-mail is at the link, above the discussion posts).

Please keep in mind that almost nothing is permanent on Wikipedia, so try not to fret about the article's current state. You've otherwise edited several other unrelated articles. I think that's great, and I hope this doesn't discourage you from contributing to other topics you're interested in. Cheers! JFHJr () 21:11, 19 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

On closer inspection, you've added your name, citations to yourself, and urls to your own youtube content. That's not alright. Please don't add yourself to articles. Please write about things unrelated to yourself. JFHJr () 21:23, 19 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Aleksandar Simić edit

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Aleksandar Simić. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article.

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Aleksandar Simić. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions.

You have been repeatedly told what the problems are with your conflicted editing: adding sources that are not reliable (your own website is insufficient to support claims about your accomplishments); citing to sources that do not support your claims; and your general conflict of interest that prevents you from objectively evaluating the significance of your own accomplishments. At this time, you seem not to get the point, as you have repeatedly added the same content with hilarious edit summaries. Please stop editing the article about you, and please stop adding information about yourself to other articles. Thank you. JFHJr () 15:13, 20 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please do not assume ownership of articles such as Aleksandar Simić. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them.
Please note your edit summaries here and here are indicative of a problem. Please feel free to contact administrators, per your edit summary, if you don't understand why your editing and edit summaries present article ownership and conflict of interest problems. If you like, also have a look at this helpful essay. JFHJr () 16:07, 20 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
