January 2022 edit

Hello, I'm Binksternet. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Abortion debate seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 01:40, 28 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Abortion debate. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. – NJD-DE (talk) 01:43, 28 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

I agree with this and would like to apologize. Forgive my mistake. I hope we can move forward from here. Thank you and God bless. 123HelloBozo456 (talk) 03:15, 28 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in abortion. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Using Talk pages edit

It's very easy. Every article has an associated Talk page - just click on the tab that says "Talk" at the top left of the article, and it opens the Talk page for that article. You can then edit it just like the page for an article - click on the tab that says "Edit". If you're starting a new section, use two equal signs, then the topic, then two more equal signs, and that starts a new section. Always be sure to sign your edits, either by clicking the four tildes after "Sign your posts on talk pages" at the bottom right of the edit window, or just by hitting four tildes in a row ( ~ ~ ~ ~ ), but without the spaces. Happy posting! Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 02:07, 28 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Edits to Abortion debate edit

Hi 123HelloBozo456, and welcome to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you've jumped right into editing a rather controversial topic, having just registered your account a few days ago. Over those few days, you've been reverted numerous times because your edits did not conform with core policies and guidelines like neutral point of view, reliable sources and encyclopedic style. This edit in particular violates all three: [1]. I would strongly suggest that you take some time to familiarize yourself with the material I've linked here, at the very least, before attempting to edit any of Wikipedia's controversial topic areas. Take it or leave it, of course, but I thought I'd offer you this advice. Happy editing, Generalrelative (talk) 23:16, 29 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Blocked for sockpuppetry edit

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/123HelloBozo456. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- RoySmith (talk) 02:14, 30 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
