The tag to translate is good for a stub. This is a decent article, and not all detail is even relevant in the English-speaking world. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:43, 22 November 2021 (UTC)

Ok, though it's still good to add detail even if the person isn't well known outside his/her home country. For example, the former US president Rutherford B. Hayes (1822 - 1893), who served as president (1877 - 1881) during the 19th century and who isn't as well known in the 21st century but was very notable during his lifetime. Hayes's page on English Wiki is so well detailed that it's a Featured Article. To my surprise, Hayes's page on German Wiki is also a Featured Article. In fact, judging by the page size, it seems that Hayes's German Wiki page is actually more detailed than the English Wiki one even though the United States is not a German speaking country and Hayes was not a German speaker. I don't want to get into a debate over this example but I would like to say that translation to and from other Wikis should be encouraged as this helps expand knowledge across all wikis.
