As I have posted on article talk and Beccaynr's user talk, I think this is inappropriate. WP:TALK pages can be used to opine on article content and that's what the second comment was. Not every interaction has to have a source. We have contributors on that page who haven't added a single source but Beccaynr has not reverted them. P.S. I wanted to note that you made relevant points; however, another user deleted your comments because Wikipedia has principles we all must follow regarding interactions on talk pages. I encourage you to discuss article content, additions or removals, sources etc (which article talk pages must focus on) but also please remember to follow the policies around polite interaction and the things we all must keep in mind when discussing living individuals. Even if your opinions are technically free speech, Wikipedia has liability concerns in addition to codes of conduct. So, you can provide sourced examples and analyze them, but it's not good to cast aspersions about entire groups of people, for example, even unintentionally, if you want your additions to remain. Speculation and gossip on talk pages

Hey, you've already gotten comments explaining what the talk pages on Wikipedia are for. Commenting that "you heard from a friend" about someone's sexuality, and using horrifically homophobic and outdated terminology, is very uncool. Nothing I wrote or added was poorly referenced. Majors himself was never at the Stonewall demonstrations, nor was he or she a regular customer at the bar.
