- Hello xs---213MK, welcome to Wikipedia! Being a good Wikipedian is easy - when you see an article that needs improvement, be bold and edit it! Of course, if you don't know how to do something, asking for more specific help via the {{help me}} template is a good idea. I'd also suggest starting with small issues - grammar, wording, additional details for which you know a reliable source. (Providing sources is somewhat tricky, but it's also central to Wikipedia; see WP:Referencing for beginners on how to easily add nicely-formatted footnotes.) I'm not sure where your areas of interest lie, but if you want to find articles that need editing, the Community Portal has lists of articles with specific issues. Or you may want to look for a WikiProject on a topic you're interested in - many of them have "to do" lists that may lead to interesting articles in need of improvement.
- Adoption may also help you find your way around Wikipedia; while I myself wouldn't make a good adopter, you have added the userbox that will let people know that you're looking to be adopted. You can also follow the link in that userbox, check out the editors who offer to adopt, and contact one of them directly. Huon (talk) 21:47, 20 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi! I'm Lixxx235, and I saw you were looking for someone to adopt you in adopt-a-user. I registered a Wikipedia account in 2010 and am a rollbacker and reviewer on the English Wikipedia. If you are still interested in being adopted, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. I mostly do anti-vandalism, but I can provide guidance in other areas as needed. One thing really quick: because we are trying to build an encyclopedia and not trying to socially network, try to spell out words- plz dont rite lik dis- nt evn on tlk pages. Hi, Mk! This adoption will be a learning experience for both of us- I've never adopted anyone before. I have a few things I'd like to ask of you. First, please use proper punctuation. Capitalize proper nouns and beginnings of sentences. The biggest question for you would be: do you want a highly structured, organized, standardized "school style" adoption, like so, or do you want a more open ended relaxed style? Your userpage is there for you personally to put whatever you want into it. (As long as it stays relevant to Wikipedia and doesn't cause any disruption.) For example, on my own userpage, I put some userboxes, my first name, what I mostly do, and what not. Though one example of what might be considered a more complicated but not convoluted and elaborative userpage would be Flyer22's userpage. (Sorry for the ping, no way to do it with out as far as I know.) You can see they put some miscellaneous facts, articles they've created or improved, etc onto their userpage. The main thing that I'm getting at is that it's for you. (Though some might look at it for their own reasons, maybe you have a good list of GA nominations or what have you, or they want more information on you) Tutelary (talk) 23:48, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
