John Alexander Armstrong edit

Hello 子罕,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, John Alexander Armstrong, may be copied from http://www.polisci.wisc.edu/news/default.aspx?id=71. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 05:55, 4 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of John Alexander Armstrong edit

Hello 子罕,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged John Alexander Armstrong for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. I dream of horses @ 05:59, 4 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi, sorry about the late response. I don't think its a copyvio issue any more, I'm mainly concerned about the super long quote on the right side. Is there a specific reason that needs to be included? Legoktm (talk) 21:09, 5 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

My Reply edit

Hello I dream of horses, I have already modified this article and I am confident to guarantee that I have carefully paraphrased from the orginal text. Could you please check the article of "John Alexander Armstrong" manually again and keep me updated. Thank you so much! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 子罕 (talkcontribs) 00:36, 4 June 2013‎

Actually, I can't "check on it manually", since the article is now deleted. Only administrators can check on deleted articles. However, the person who deleted it might want to help you out. --I dream of horses If you reply here, please leave me a {{Talkback}} message on my talk page. @ 17:33, 4 June 2013 (UTC) (Edited on 17:34, 4 June 2013 (UTC))Reply
