Contested deletion

• I've deleted the page because ultimately it was still sort of a WP:NOTWEBHOST violation. Some information about yourself is fine, but it must be about you as it applies to editing on Wikipedia. This kind of came across more like a CV, which wasn't really appropriate for Wikipedia. I didn't really see anything on there about you as a teacher of a class that uses Wikipedia and I didn't see where any of this information was really applicable to editing. I also have to echo concerns by Graeme Bartlett at [[Wikipedia:Requests_for_undeletion#User:.E1.9E.9F.E1.9E.B8.E1.9E.9B.E1.9E.B6.E1.9E.94.E1.9E.B6.E1.9E.97.E1.9F.92.E1.9E.93.E1.9F.86|the request page: If you are looking to instruct your students on how to translate English Wikipedia articles into Khmer, then you would probably be better off editing at the Khmer Wikipedia. However if you are looking on having your students translate Khmer articles into English then I'd recommend that you go to Wikiversity and follow the instructions there about starting a course. You may also want to look into the basic notability and editing guidelines on Wikipedia since the rules for notability differ greatly depending on which language Wikipedia you are on. Someone that is notable on the Khmer Wikipedia page may not pass notability guidelines for the English site and vice-versa. Tokyogirl79 (｡◕‿◕｡) 10:49, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

• I'd also recommend that you change your username to something that is easier for people to get to as far as non-Khmer speakers go. There's no rule about this per se, but it is discouraged because your username may not show up to all editors and it can make it much harder for people to find and contact you.
