It aims to document and biograph municipal & local leaders in the United States during the year 1936. Individuals who served as Mayors, County Commissioners, State Congresspeople, Governors, and Liutenant Governors are all encompassed in this listing. Alderpersons, treasurers, and other minor positions are not explicitly documented, though they may be referenced in articles.
