List Discrepancies
editSome municipalities that are now towns and/or cities were not incorporated at the time. These municipalities had no legally recognized leader in 1936. They include: Broadus, Colstrip, Ennis, Fairfield, Flaxville, Fort Peck, Jordan, Pinesdale, Rexford, Richey, Ronan, St. Ignatius, Superior, and West Yellowstone.
One municipality, Antelope, no longer exists today but did during the time period. The town disincorporated in the late 1960s.
Another former municipality, Sweetgrass, disincorporated in 1933, three years before 1936.
