Osley Bird Saunooke (July 19, 1906 – April 16, 1965) was a professional wrestler and politician who served as the 17th Principal Chief of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians from 1951 to 1955 and from 1959 to 1963.

Since 1978, the Chief Osley B. Saunooke wrestling invitational takes place every year at Cherokee High School.[6]
