Selena Gomez

Selena Marie Gomez (born July 22, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter, actress and television producer.[1] Born in Grande Prairie, Texas, Gomez began her acting career in 2002 acting on the children's TV series Barney & Friends (2002-2004) and rose to fame after getting the role as Alex Russo in the Disney Channel television series Wizards of Waverly Place (2007-2012). Gomez went on to star in many other films such as Princess Protection Program (2009), Monte Carlo (2011), Spring Breakers (2012) and more. Gomez later pursued a music career after the formation of the band Selena Gomez & The Scene in 2008 and the band achieved three top-ten albums. Gomez later pursued her singing career as a solo artist, and released her first solo album Stars Dance (2013), which went number-one on the Billboard 200. After signing with Interscope Records in 2014, Gomez went on to record albums Revival (2015), and Rare (2020), which both went number-one on the Billboard 200, earning Gomez three consecutive number-one albums.[2]
