I'm a software engineer with experience in Python and C programming, IP networking, network monitoring, Web services, computer hardware, and computer security. I once knew things about supercomputing, databases, and semiconductor fabrication, but I only mention them now to brag.
Other interests include sports car, touring car, and F1 racing; vehicle dynamics; metalworking; guitar; travel; and beer.
I am the owner, builder, and driver of a BMW E30 race car, which is a perennial work in progress.
I am also a licensed airplane pilot (ASEL). Although I am no longer current, I hope regain my wings after I stop spending money on the race car.
