Hi Eclipse. I'm sorry that your first FAC experience appears to be going so poorly. Don't be discouraged - many of us had issues when we first began to participate at FAC. Sourcing, especially, is often an area that plagues newcomers. Take the comments as constructive criticism, learn from them, and next time we see you the process ought to be much smoother! I was unsure from your comments at the Wikipedia:Featured_article_candidates/Age_of_Empires_(video_game) whether you were intending to withdraw the nomination, or whether you wanted to leave it open until SandyGeorgia does the next archive. It's your choice, but if you are intending to withdraw it, could you please make that clear on the FAC page? Thanks! Karanacs (talk) 16:04, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

International Release Dates

Hi! Just noticed an edit you made to MGS4 - you used {{vgrelease|INT= to define the release date, but that template actually links to International version, which is completely different to international release dates (I made this mistake at the start myself - I brought up how silly it was, but nothing was done). Anyhow, just something to keep in mind in the future! Thanks! =) Fin© 20:20, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up! Cheers, --EclipseSSD (talk) 20:23, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

I actually found a source that hadn't been cited previously, an interview with Tobe Hooped from Rue Morgue Magazine back in 2004. I was able to add a few items in from that interview, but you may want to rework/reword them for consistency of voice. I tried my best to only take information that actually furthered the article, but their were a lot of good anecdotes so I probably used more than I needed to. Just letting you know. hornoir (talk) 14:34, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

Term start may sound better to you, but it may not be completely accurate. Some courts have set terms for chief judge/justice, thus if Judge Bob becomes chief judge in 1998 and the term is 2 years, but he holds that position until currently, then the infobox would have to be "Term start = 2008" even though he has been in that position since 1998. Thus you will need to go through all the articles using the template to ensure that the change does not make the article inaccurate, as prior usage would have had "in position since = 1998" in this case. There may not be any articles that need correction, but you need to check. Aboutmovies (talk) 22:23, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Apocalypto-poster01.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Apocalypto-poster01.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:11, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Age of Empires edit

Reporting in from the Guild of Copy Editors. Still need a copy edit on Age of Empires? Let me know. AikiHawkeye (talk) 03:23, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi. You have a few things listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors/Requests, which I'm trying to clean up so it can be a working to-do list for myself and others. Would you mind checking which articles (if any) you still need assistance with and letting me know? That way the rest can be removed. Thanks! Recognizance (talk) 03:56, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Well, I'd really like Characters of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Star Wars: Empire at War to be cleaned up, because I'd really wanna (eventually) try for FA. Thanks, --EclipseSSD (talk) 18:11, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
Hmm. Do you think Chop Top will end up being merged or staying a separate article? I'd hate to edit his section only to have new info put in there. Similarly, I think copy editing should be the last step in the case of Empire at War. It's tagged as needing a longer lead and lacks a plot section altogether, so if you want to take a shot at it I can copy edit what you write. Not familiar with the topic at all, personally. Recognizance (talk) 22:38, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
I think Chop Top will most likely be merged, seeing as how the character is not the most notable in the franchise. Regarding, Empire at War, I'll probably expand the lead and plot sometime soon, but it's probably best if that one is left for now. --EclipseSSD (talk) 16:27, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Peer review

I think you need to point to /archive2 for the new peer review... the /archive1 one is a bit old. —Erik (talkcontrib) 16:39, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

Nevermind, I didn't look at your edit. I think that it would be better to do a general peer review that can be transcluded at WP:FILM and WP:HORROR and be available to people outside the projects. —Erik (talkcontrib) 16:40, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Thanks! I've tried to attract more attention to this PR and the other PRs going on at WT:FILM. —Erik (talkcontrib) 14:20, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Copyediting "List of characters of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and require your assistance

Greetings; after a few months, a member of the GoCE (me) is getting around to editing the list; it definitely stands a good chance of making it to FL, but I need your assistance to get it there. The article (so far) contains a number of ambiguous modifiers, and since I'm not intimately familiar with the movie series, I can't properly clear up the ambiguity. The talk page has some of the ambiguities listed which I need cleared up.

Thanks! Webmaster961 (talk) 16:06, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre

Hey, fair point about the deletion, was just trying ot be bold! I still think this part needs to be rewritten though "Hooper initially took his inspiration from the Wisconsin serial killer Ed Gein, as well as from the perceived lies from the American government when drafting his story" What percieved lies? Well, I'm sure you can edit it better than I can, good luck! Desdinova (talk) 12:43, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

At a quick glance, I would agree that a copy edit is warranted. You can either request an official copy edit from Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors, which might take forever to get a response. Or, you could do another peer review, and in the PR request editors provide some copy editing insight as to what can be tweaked. I can try and do some C/Eing myself, but I'm so busy right now when my semester ending and getting ready to graduate that I barely have time to work on my own articles beyond just general vandal maintenance.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 23:24, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
