Introduction

No London, an indie band, was formed in Toronto in November, 2009. The band consists of Sarah on drums and vocals, and Nikita on guitar and vocals. The band was previously known as "The Adaptors" but changed their name to "No London" on January 15, 2010.

Releases

The band is terribly lacking in talented members, and hopes to find people who actually play instruments soon. Their first single, "Raven", has been very well received by the underground music scene, and is still very much in development. In fact, it has no tune. As Sarah practices her skills on Rock Band, and Nikita works out how to play a guitar without a guitar, the band has high hopes of being ridiculously awesome, but not the kind of awesome that makes major radio stations pick them up. Because that's not cool. Those guys overplay stuff like nobody's business. Look out for the band's first album, to be named "Maybe This Wasn't a Good Idea". In stores 2012. Good thing we'll all be dead.

While "Raven" was put on hold, the band released their first song, "Escape", and released a fast-paced video, available on their MySpace page. The band worries about becoming too successful, and letting the fame go to their heads.

Formation and History

On November the 6th, 2009, Nikita and Sarah were at the Horseshoe, enjoying free live music and paying way too much for their drinks. Perhaps, as in most definitely, encouraged by their beverages, the two decided that they, undoubtedly, could form a successful band! They certainly listened to enough music, why couldn't they make some of their own? The duo did have some initial worries, considering the band had no funding, no instruments, no musical skills, and no way of ever actually being a band, but despite these small concerns, the band met up a week later to discuss details. Whilst sitting in Einsteins, some early possible band name were developed, included "Tempo Tree", and "Leatherbound". Unhappy with the state of the creative energies in the band, Sarah and Nikita decided that it was best to, instead, let the band name discover them. And so they waited. By the 26th of November, Sarah was sick of waiting, and messaged Nikita with as many cool-sounding band names she could think of. And thus, as the two starred at the list of terrible band names, one stood out to them as not-so-shitty. At 11:32 pm, The Adaptors, soon to be the most influential and original band of its time, was born. Since then, the two have worked tirelessly to finish their university assignments, and haven't done much of anything for the band. At all. However, their first single, "Raven", is under development, and can be expected to never be completed.

Surprisingly, the two have completed one song, "Escape", which was shaped, practiced, and recorded all in the span of three hours.
