Chesapeake and Ohio No. 1309 is a 2-6-6-2 "Mallet" class locomotive built in 1949 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad. 1309 was Baldwin's last commercially built steam locomotive [1].
