Emamode Edosio (popularly known as Ema) is a Nigerian film maker and film director. She obtained bachelor of science(bsc) in computer science from Ogun state University (OSU), Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State . She studied digital filmmaking at the Motion Pictures Institute of Michigan in the United States(US). Ema was born into a Christian family of seven children. Her dad is an architect while her mother is a housewife turned lawyer.In 2013,she returned to Nigeria from US. She worked with film Production Company like 66 Dimension in the year 2007. Later, she worked with Hip Hop TV, Clarence Peters at Capital Dreams Pictures, EbonyLife TV and as editor at BBC. In her adventure for knowledge, Ema returned to school in Abuja to further her knowledge in cinematography. She has produced many film like “ Joy Ride”, “Ochuko” among others.

Early life and education career

Ema was born into a Christian home. She is the third of seven children in the family. Her father is a retired architect and her mother a housewife turned lawyer.She started her education at Laura Nursery and Primary School, Odogbolu Girls, she later went to Esteem Private Academy for girls where she completed her secondary school education.She obtained bachelor degree in computer science from Ogun state university, before proceeding to United state where she went to study digital filmaking at Motion Picture Institute of Michigan.[1].

Professional career

She was exposed to filmmaking through apprenticeship by understudy of cameraman and editors. She returned to Nigeria in the year 2013 after her education in the US [1].In Nigeria, Ema worked with 66 Dimension , Hip Hop TV, Clarence Peters at Capital Dreams Pictures and BBC. As a directorm Ema has worked with notable artiste like TuFace , 9ce,Lord of Ajasa, Terry da Rapmanand many others[2].
