Shopping center Mols is a shopping center in Riga, Latvia, located at Krasta iela 46. The area of the center is 35 000 m². It is one of the first multifunctional shopping centers in Latvia. About 5 million people have visited the shopping center since the opening of the shopping center.

History

In 1997, the current mall developer, Linstow Center Management, purchased the center, which was then under development. It was opened in September 1998. Rimi supermarket was also opened in the center.

From 2001 to 2002 and 2004 to 2005 the center was reconstructed and center expansion. It houses 120 businesses over 24,600 m2.

Mols shopping center was managed by Linstow Baltic, but on January 31, 2021, the contract concluded between Linstow Baltic and SIA Multi Latvia.

From October 2022 to December 2023, the shopping center was owned by SIA "Citra Development" belonging to "Signet Bank".

On December 1, 2023, in a short period of time, the snow on the roof of the center approached the maximum permissible weight, and the center was closed for one day for snow removal.[1]

In 15 December 2023, Mols was bought by the company F 8, whose management is also related to the supermarket chain Mego, from Citra Development owned by Signet Bank. The owner of F 8 is Mihail Shulik.[2]
