Hi, I'm Lu Hung-nguong, a Foochowese. I was born in Luoyuan (Lò̤-nguòng), Fuzhou (Hók-ciŭ), Fujian Province of China and am now a graduate student in Upstate New York.
My mother tongue is Foochowese, but ridiculously, I'm more fluent in Mandarin Chinese than in Foochowese. Not only until I began my college in North China did I realize my emotional and cultural connection to Fujian and Fuzhou and start learning and studying my own language. Nowadays, when the culture and language of Fuzhou, even the whole Mother Land of Fujian, are being threatened, I pray for her well being. I hope I can save her in any way possible. Succeed or not, my soul will always be with my mother land and her people who were and are deeply connected to her.
In Wikipedia, my concerns are mainly the culture, language and history of Fujian and the Min peoples all over the world. At times, I participate in editing articles related to China and other nations on the earth. Occasionally, I edit articles on physics, materials science, electrical engineering, nuclear engineering and other subjects.
