I am an employee of the US Census Bureau, a federal government agency that falls under the United States Department of Commerce under the Executive Branch. I have worked at Census Bureau for over three years now, currently with the Advance Monthly Retail Trade Survey (MARTS). I am a mathematical statistician, supporting staff for the statistical analysts of the Retail Indicators Branch.

Prior to working for the Census Bureau, I worked eight years for the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, for the Occupational Employment Statistics (OES) survey. I have contributed various studies towards the progress of the OES survey, namely, as the main author for the paper "Alternative Allocation Designs for a Highly Stratified Establishment Survey" (abstract here), which was presented at the 2007 Joint Statistical Meetings in Salt Lake City, UT. This paper was also the basis for my Master's Thesis at American University.
