Introduction
The Backstreet Boys (often abbreviated as BSB) are an American vocal group consisting of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson. They were formed in 1993 in Orlando, Florida.
The group rose to fame with their international debut album, Backstreet Boys (1996). In the following year, they released their second international album Backstreet's Back (1997), along with their self-titled U.S. debut album, Backstreet Boys (1997), which continued the group's success worldwide. They rose to superstardom with their third studio album Millennium (1999), anchored by the worldwide hit "I Want It That Way", and its follow-up album, Black & Blue (2000). They also released a greatest hits album, The Hits – Chapter One (2001). After a two-year hiatus, they regrouped and released a comeback album, Never Gone (2005). After the conclusion of the Never Gone Tour in 2006, Richardson left the group to pursue other interests. The group then released two albums as a quartet: Unbreakable (2007) and This Is Us (2009). A Very Backstreet Christmas is the tenth (ninth in the United States) studio album and the first Christmas album by the Backstreet Boys. Initially slated for release in 2021, it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was released on October 14, 2022. It entered the Billboard Top Holiday Albums chart at number 1, and debuted at number 17 on the Billboard 200 chart. A related television special, "A Very Backstreet Holiday," was pulled from airing and streaming debuts after sexual assault allegations against Nick Carter, who has since filed a defamation lawsuit. Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life is the first concert residency by American vocal group Backstreet Boys, performed at Zappos Theater (formerly The AXIS Theater) in the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in the Las Vegas Valley, Nevada. The show had its opening night on March 1, 2017, and was scheduled to close on April 27, 2019, to start the Backstreet Boys' 11th world tour in May of the same year. Although, AJ McLean stated on the last night of their final show that they will return to the Las Vegas Valley after their DNA World Tour, most likely for their 30th anniversary (2023) after what's happened, but Brian Littrell confirmed that they are going sign a longterm deal once the tour is over. In a World Like This is the eighth studio album (seventh in the US) by the Backstreet Boys. It was released on July 30, 2013, through the group's own K-BAHN record label, under license to BMG Rights Management, and distributed by RED Distribution. Although it serves as the follow-up to This Is Us (2009), it is the first album since Never Gone (2005) to feature Kevin Richardson, who left the group in 2006 and rejoined in 2012. It was also their first and only independent album since leaving their old label Jive Records in 2010. The album debuted at number five on the US Billboard 200, making the Backstreet Boys the first act since Sade to have nine US top 10 albums, and the only boy band to do so.
On May 20, 2013, the group released "Permanent Stain" as a promotional single, which was co-written by band member Nick Carter. A free download of the song was offered with the purchase of a ticket for their In a World Like This Tour. Backstreet's Back is the second studio album by American boy band Backstreet Boys, released internationally on August 11, 1997, by Jive Records and Trans Continental Records, with the exception of United States. It serves as a follow-up to their successful self-titled debut album, which came out a year prior. A day after its release, a United States-exclusive reissue of their debut was released with a revised track list and additional songs from Backstreet's Back.
The first track recorded for the album was a cover of "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss". The tracks "If You Stay" and "Who Do You Love" were recorded for the album but were ultimately not included; the latter was performed live but never released as a studio track. The three singles released from Backstreet's Back: "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)", "As Long as You Love Me", and "All I Have to Give" became three of their most successful singles. The NKOTBSB Tour was a co-headlining concert tour between American boy bands New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys, who together formed NKOTBSB. The tour visited North America in 2011. Europe, Australia and Asia were added to the itinerary for 2012. The tour ranked 44th in Pollstar's "Top 50 Worldwide Tour (Mid-Year)", earning over 10 million dollars. At the conclusion of 2011, the tour placed 8th on Billboard's annual "Top 25 Tours", earning over $76 million with 51 shows.

The Black & Blue World Tour was their fifth worldwide concert tour by the Backstreet Boys in support of their fourth album Black & Blue (2000) and the world tour took place in 2001. The first leg of the tour kicked off January 22, 2001 in the United States. The second leg began June 8 in the group's hometown of Orlando, Florida, and was temporarily put on hold July 9, in order for group member AJ McLean to seek treatment for clinical depression which led to anxiety attacks and the excessive consumption of alcohol. The tour resumed August 24 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and wrapped up October 19 in Paradise, Nevada. The Boys then continued their tour around the world before it came to a close by the end of 2001. It grossed over US $315 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing concert tour by an artist in general of the year. The tour was sponsored by Burger King, Kellogg's and Polaroid.
On September 11, 2001, band member Brian Littrell's wife Leighanne and the band's crew member Daniel Lee were scheduled to fly from Boston, where the group played their fifth sold-out show the night before, back to Los Angeles aboard American Airlines Flight 11. Leighanne Littrell canceled her flight the night before as she wanted to spend more time with her husband, but Lee was one of 92 people killed aboard Flight 11 after it was hijacked and crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. Near the end of the concert in Toronto on September 12, 2001, Littrell gave a brief speech about crew member Daniel Lee, who was on board American Airlines Flight 11, which was hijacked and deliberately crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center on 9/11, and led the entire audience in a moment of silence for Lee and all those who died that day. This Is Us is the seventh studio album (sixth in the US) from American pop group Backstreet Boys. Serving as a follow-up to Unbreakable (2007), it was released on September 30, 2009 in Japan through Sony Music Japan, October 5, 2009 in the UK through RCA, and October 6 in the US.
For the album, the group reunited with previous collaborator and producer Max Martin, with the intention to create their best record since Millennium. They worked with Ryan Tedder, Claude Kelly, Jim Jonsin, RedOne, Ne-Yo, Brian Kennedy, Alex James, Pitbull, Eddie Galan, Rami Yacoub, Kristian Lundin, and T-Pain amongst others for the album as well. In the following year, they released their fourth album, Black & Blue, which also entered the Billboard 200 at number one with first-week sales of over a million copies. After the Black & Blue Tour in 2001, the Backstreet Boys entered a hiatus. They released their fifth studio album, Never Gone, in 2005. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, selling over 291,000 copies in its first week of release. Its initial release contains six tracks from their first studio album, Backstreet Boys (1996) and five tracks from their second studio album Backstreet's Back (1997). Released a day after Backstreet's Back, both albums share nearly the same cover but with different titles. The album served as their debut in the United States, where their previous records were not released.
The album became one of their most successful albums and received acclaim from music critics. NKOTBSB was an American pop supergroup consisting of the members of American boy bands New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys. Howie Dorough of the Backstreet Boys came up with the name, which is a combination of established initialisms of each groups' names, NKOTB and BSB. Together they have released one compilation album, the eponymous NKOTBSB (2011) and one single, "Don't Turn Out the Lights". Dead 7 (formerly titled Dead West) is a 2016 post-apocalyptic zombie horror western film written by Nick Carter, directed by Danny Roew and produced by The Asylum. It aired on SyFy on April 1, 2016 in the United States.
Carter managed to get two of his bandmates, AJ McLean and Howie Dorough, to star in the film. In addition, Carter also cast several members from other boy bands like 98 Degrees, O-Town, *NSYNC and All-4-One. The DNA World Tour was the eleventh concert tour by American vocal group Backstreet Boys in support of their tenth studio album, DNA (2019). The tour performed over 150 shows in the Americas, Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia. It was the ninth highest-grossing tour of 2019, with a total attendance of 999,242 from 95 shows, as well as a total revenue of $92,310,105.

The Never Gone Tour is the sixth headlining concert tour by American boy band, the Backstreet Boys. The tour was launched in support of their fifth studio album, Never Gone (2005). It is the last BSB tour with all five members of the group, as Kevin Richardson left the band shortly after the tour concluded on June 23, 2006. However, Richardson permanently returned to the band on April 29, 2012.

Brian Thomas Littrell (/ˈlɪtrəl/; born February 20, 1975) is an American singer and a member of the Backstreet Boys. He is also a contemporary Christian music artist and released the solo album Welcome Home in 2006. He is the father of country singer Baylee Littrell.

Never Gone is the fifth studio album (fourth in the US) released by American vocal group Backstreet Boys as the follow-up to their fourth (third in the U.S.) studio album Black & Blue (2000), after a short hiatus. Never Gone was originally due for release in 2004, but the release date for the album was pushed to June 14, 2005, for unknown reasons.
The album differs musically from their previous albums, moving away from teen pop into pop rock tendencies. Unlike previous albums, the album featured only live instruments. The album's title track mourns the loss of Kevin Richardson's father Jerald, who is also Brian Littrell's uncle. It sold over 3 million copies worldwide. (Full article...)
