My name is Icelandic Hurricane #12 (User ID:754484). I am interested in tropical cyclones and music. I am also a Fl(a)utist. I've tried to learn Icelandic, Lithuanian, Rusyn, Esperanto, Chinook Jargon, Scots, and Afrikaans, but have only had success with the last three. The languages i would like to be fluent in are (crossed off ones means I'm completely fluent):
That's a long list. If anybody could help me with learning one of those languages, particularly the Germanic ones, I'd be so happy. Writing a wikibook on one would be nice. I've also created my own language, called New England Creole, or Nú Ingelønd Kríól. it's not really a creole language though. If I'm allowed to I'll post it on wikibooks. I edited without a username many times-particularly in the Tropical cyclone area-since my discovery of Wikipedia, possibly before November 23, 2004. I think I've been under three IP's, most recently as 66.30.58.20. I created my user name, finally, on January 4, 2006. I ran for adminship on August 11, 2006, but failed with a final tally of 18 supports, 32 opposes, and 9 neutrals.

7th grade Scripp's National Spelling Bee School Champion. Note: I am supposedly the first person in my school to win both the spelling bee and geo bee in the same school year, and probably in different years.

7th grade National Geographic Bee (State Level, Preliminary Rounds), tied for 2nd place. One other person had a higher score than me.
7th grade National Geographic Bee (State Level, Tiebreaker Round), 8 people, 7 available spots. I got out, so I basicaly came in 11th at the state level.
