Saraswati International School Hi, I've uploaded a file named Statue of Saraswati Goddess , now I want to add this file into the article Saraswati International School because the image in that file is captured from this school. So can you tell me the steps of adding a file/image which is already uploaded on Wikipedia to be added to an article. The last three companies are in the business of semiconductor Semiconductor IP business as well. Wikipedia is an excellent source of relevant past and contemporary information; this page certainly is an excellent candidate for inclusion precisely because of its scientific contributions. While I may be seen as someone who has reason to be biased, I would not be providing this information did I feel this was not the case. I hope this explains why we deemed it fit for inclusion in wikipedia. If you would like verification of its contributions, I would be happy to provide those to you. I would ask that this page not be deleted; if it needs editing with further information, I would be happy to do so as appropriate. A company, corporation or organization is notable if it has been the subject of significant coverage in secondary sources. Such sources must be reliable, and independent of the subject.The depth of coverage of the subject by the source must be considered. If the depth of coverage is not substantial, then multiple independent sources should be cited to establish notability. Trivial or incidental coverage of a subject by secondary sources is not sufficient to establish notability.The source's audience must also be considered. Evidence of attention by international or national, or at least regional, media is a strong indication of notability. On the other hand, attention solely from local media, or media of limited interest and circulation, is not an indication of notability. If you think Cambridge Analog Technologies fulfills the general notability guideline I mentioned above then you may recreate the article, Make Sure to verify the claims made within the articles with reliable sources. I have claimed that Elliot Mason is significant. Furthermore, I have identified an independent source (the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra page) that attests to Mason's notability. He took a solo on national TV, for goodness' sake. I am currently searching for additional resources, but I know that the Northwestern University website contains a similar bio for Elliot, and should qualify as an independent source. Regards.Hitro talk dear hitro, Ok i understand, then you could have deleted the contacts and i also read in the history about infrastructure being promotional fine is ok if you delete that too then why did you delete the entire page? that included alumni, activities and academy? it had nothing promotional at all. in alumni i gave a link to the official site when the list was there. and in activities i described the functions happening in the school and in academics i wrote about the exams and subjects. what was promotional about that? Do you know, i literally cried when i found out my work was completely deleted. after putting my baby to sleep i sat till 4 in the morning to write all that. now when i tried to undo it. and delete the infra and contact keeping the rest. it seems it has to be manually done. I couldn't do anything because I have not removed those entries. Please see the history of the page. Just for Your Information, Plenty of articles exist that probably should not. Equally, because articles must wait for someone who is interested in the subject to notice they are missing before they are created, a lot of articles do not exist that probably should. So just pointing out that an article on a similar subject exists does not prove that the article in question should also exist; it is quite possible that the other article should also be deleted but nobody has noticed it and put it forward. So if mine has to be deleted then i suppose there are many entries doing so is not a valid argument. U had put up a no citations sign on the ISS webpage , I spared a few valuable hours making references for each statement put up there. I also deleted statements I felt were self praising & difficult to substatiate. A visitor to this page cud be interested in knowing what are the languages taught there as it is different in each school - u deleted that section claiming it to be junk. An encyclopedia is also used as a reference for dates -- u deleted the section that mentioned the date when the school started. A school entry is expected to have details about its curriculum --- the most important section -- u deleted that claiming it as junk ! I have seen wiki pages for a sister concern of this school Iindian school dubai -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Indian_High_School,_Dubai Plz see the info mentioned there -- the editor has added even the subjects being taught in each section!! This is an info that is similiar to all CBSE schools , therefore this can be termed junk.He has mentioned names of dignitaries that visited the school , is this relevant info?!! Any article that gives a brief summary of the syllabus followed, is an essential part of a school info page. But here , u have deemed it to be junk. Now either u havent noticed wiki's editing policy in similiar pages [ this amounts to non-uniform editing] or wiki has started a new policy of clearing up junk from all pages, the ISS page just happens to be first in the crossfire. First of all, this is not ISS webpage but an article at Wikipedia. A school article should focus specifically on aspects of the curriculum which are unique to the school. If the curriculum is unique then it can be relocated. Since, uniqueness was not pointed, I removed it. Date of Establishment is already included in infobox, a separate history section is not needed just to repeat date of establishment. An history section should describe the history of the school, including noteworthy milestones in its development. Curriculum and Syllabus are most important section in School Website but to be the part of encyclopedia it should worth notability. About Indian School Dubai- This is not a valid argument. Plenty of articles exist that probably should not. Equally, because articles must wait for someone who is interested in the subject to notice they are missing before they are created, a lot of articles do not exist that probably should. So just pointing out that an article on a similar subject exists does not prove that the article in question should also exist; it is quite possible that the other article should also be deleted but nobody has noticed it and put it forward or cared to worked over it. You may want to read Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools and guidelines included within. Though its not a policy but it may be followed as standard parameter. Plano Senior High School and Stuyvesant High School are featured articles, you may take them as ideal school article. There are few more good articles Amador Valley High School, Gordon Parks High School, North Community High School, Port Charlotte High School and there are many more articles which can be taken as sample. WP:Your First Article also gives substantial idea to new contributor about what is accepted at wikipedia and what is not. Regards!!!! I will try to upload more unique info next time. The ideal pages u mentioned, eg. plano school has 1 big advantage -- the school itself is ideal in many respects. The Ktunaxa is the name that the Ktunaxa people call themselves.... Kootenai is the "white person" name that was given to them. The least that could happen is that the re-direct go in reverse..... so that Kootenai re-directs to Ktunaxa. I am sure that Wikipedia doesn't have a page called "Indians", but instead has the correct term "First Nations"..... in this case, Wikipedia is out of step with being politically correct. School articles should only contain material of encyclopedic interest. These section may be merged into other sections with little cleanup. Apart from these, this article is good and well referenced. While I agree that the language used on the page was not neutral and written in an advertisement-like manner, the page has since been updated and now uses neutral language and is not different from the pages of similar organizations. To have those warnings remain on the page is not only unfair to the organization, but is misleading to potential readers looking for information on DNDi.
