Hello. I'm Ferret. I'm an engineering student at the Cooper Union in New York City. I'm a Baal teshuva, I suppose, though I'm somewhat hesitant to use the term. We're always working to bring ourselves closer to God.

I have particular interests in baseball history and science fiction. I recently finished reading the Hugo Award winning novels, which has given me a good grasp of the overall trends of modern science fiction history, and am working on an overhaul of the History of science fiction article, which finally replaced the original article. If you stumble on this page, kindly go to History of science fiction and comment on my work. There are still gaping holes in the history, many of which I'm aware of and some I'm surely not.

I read voraciously and tend to play with articles of works I've read. I recently did some work on stories by Graham Greene, The Destructors and Alas, Poor Maling.
