December 2013 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Mikhail Sergeevich Kedrov may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Lynching edit

Hello, can you please explain why you have reverted my addition to the Lynching article, advising caution to a disturbing photo? Best regards Ertly (talk) 08:29, 21 January 2021 (UTC)

@Ertly: Your concern about that picture (and / or others on the page) is shared by at least one other account and one IP (edit comments on 2 January). There is a recent discussion at Talk:Lynching#Should we take the photos down?, where I and another user pointed out the relevant guidelines, especially WP:NODISCLAIMERS. --Rsk6400 (talk) 08:52, 21 January 2021 (UTC)

Your signature and linter errors edit

Just a reminder that your signature contains obsolete font tags. They create Linter errors, and it is advised that you change your signature to [[User:Ertly|<span style="text-shadow:gray 3px 3px 2px;font-family:impact;font-size:large;color:#000000;">Ogün Eratalay</span>]] [[User_talk:Ertly|message]] ASAP.

The purpose of this message is because Linter errors affect the way the page looks, and with a lot of errors, the page may render badly. To reduce Linter errors, please change your signature.

If the software doesn't accept my replacement signature, let me know, and if that's the case, unfortunately you may have to change it to something else. Sheep (talk) 15:30, 9 November 2022 (UTC)

Also, as a quick note, your userpage wasn't nominated for deletion. It was one of your userboxes on your userpage. I've fixed it by surrounding the actual nomination on the userbox with noinclude tags. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:34, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
Hi @Sheep8144402: I have updated my signature as requested, I hope this solves the problem. Regards...Ogün Eratalay message 06:25, 10 November 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Ertly (2nd nomination) edit

A tag has been placed on Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Ertly (2nd nomination) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

G6, one of the userboxes on this user's userpage got nominated for deletion which caused the MFD template to be transcluded wherever the userbox is used. I've gone ahead and fixed it by surrounding it with noinclude tags

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:35, 9 November 2022 (UTC)

You change you discovery doctrine edit

Hello there, please note that you should not change the established spelling in an article simply because you prefer a different spelling. See: MOS:retain Happy to discuss. Aemilius Adolphin (talk) 07:55, 1 December 2022 (UTC)

Hi there, correct me if I am wrong but the wording in the article is CRITCIZED. Without a letter i between the letters T & C. Are you saying that this word is correct? Shoulld it not be CRITICIZED? Ogün Eratalay message 08:04, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
My apologies. I didn't see the other correction you made. Thanks for pointing it out. Aemilius Adolphin (talk) 08:15, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
