Marcus Quirk (born May 10, 2000) is a British basketball player for the Formosa Tiger Kings of the University Basketball Association (UBA). He played college basketball for the Cornell College Rams.

Early life and career

Quirk was born in Aberdeen. His mother was a hockey player for the Bruneian national team. Growing up, Quirk lived in Oman and Brunei.

After discovering the game of basketball, Quirk returned to the United Kingdom in 2016 to play for the Leicester Riders' youth team at Charnwood College. He played a preseason game for the Riders in 2017, scoring six points against Hemel Storm.

Quirk committed to playing college basketball for Cornell College in NCAA Division III in June 2018.

College career

Quirk made his college debut on 13 November 2018 against Wartburg, recording 8 points and a rebound. He made his first collegiate start on 2 January 2019, having 16 points and 4 rebounds in a win against Knox.
