Carlos da Silva

Carlos da Silva, mostly known as Carlinhos, is a former football player, who has dedicated his whole life to football, among others, in

one of the biggest teams in the world, the Clube de Regatas Flamengo.

Since then, he has continued in this field working from several perspectives, mainly in Spain.

He has worked as assistant coach in Brazilian second division teams with great success and discovered new talents. Also, he performs various functions,

such as scouting, representing, coaching and personal training.

Biography

Carlinhos started playing in Youth Teams in Rio de Janeiro, feautring in Infanto Juvenil de Madureira, he catched the attention of the directors of Clube de Regatas Flamengo, and was moved there by Isaias Tinoco (the sports director of the main team). It seemed like he was going to grow in the team because of his brilliant performances, his beautiful goals and the experience gained collaborating with famous players as Athirson, Marcos Aurélio, Júlio César, Marcelo Leite, Juan, Bruno Quadros, Pedro Viana, Vladimir, Cosme and Felipe Michel amongst others. At the time, this Base Category was called "Flamengo's Master Cast"

Then he moved to Sport Recife, and found an effective attack partner: Adriano Chuva, before being transferred to the ADAP Ponta Grossa second division, and then getting to the first division.

After ADAP Ponta Grossa; he had a quick passage at Guaçuano São Paulo (second division / B2) , before heading to the European Football, where he had received an invitation from União de Leiria's President: Bartolomeu. We also can't forget about the people who helped him to get to the European Football: the Portuguese bussineseman João Gandara, who gave him all the assistance needed in Portugal and Mourinho, who facilitated his adaptation at União de Leiria.

When he left União de Leiria, he got to Pavia, where he accquired more strength.

Until he moved to Spain, where he unfortunetly ended his career beacuse of a lession on the knee.

After that, he started working at representation in Spanish teams, scouting and discovered new talents. Meanwhile, he got married, he built a family and stayed there for 15 years.

In the period of time he was living at Spain, he travelled to Brazil to work as an assistant coach at Ceres FC for 6 months.

Today he's living in The United Kingdom, working as a Scout, Coach, Manager and Personal
